New Hair Cut
Ok, so Chad didn't cut Sammys hair as short as I wanted it, so I have been meaning to trim it shorter. Then Sammy was throwing her popcile trash in a trashcan in the garage when her hair got stuck on a fly trap Peter hung right above the trashcan. So she got her hair cut to remove the glue from her hair, its a little shorter than I wanted it, but it turned out cute and makes her look older. So what do you think?
Castle Park
Last Friday we took the kids to Castle Park. We got there at 11:30 and the rides didn't open until 12. So we decided to play in the arcade until the rides opened. Our kids are not quite the right age for arcade games, such as put a token in any slot then when the game didn't work (because it required 3) they would walk away, or they would try to play and lose almost instantly. The best part for them was collecting the tickets and then turning them in for prizes. The $20 bought us 2 harmonicas, a foam dart shooter, and sticker earrings. But the memories I guess are what count. After 45 minutes (way to long) in the arcade we ventured out to the rides and had fun. We only bought one booklet of ride tickets and when they were gone we were done. But the kids had fun and enjoyed the rides and we made it home early 2:30 for naps.

Our New Cousin
Mammoth Pools

We just got home from our favorite camping spot. The kids had a blast and it is also our special time with Grandma and Grandpa. We took the boat out on the lake and found little beaches with streams to spend the day. This year we ventured out a little more and found a new favorite spot. It is hard to get down to, but it is worth it. The stream and the rocks are beautiful and at one spot I just floated on an intertube at a peaceful spot that was shaded by huge trees and protected by large rocks. Isn't this world beautiful? The only negative thing about the trip was the drive home, which was over 7 hours.

Our New Pet

Our new pet, for an hour at least. We found this catapiller whaile walking to the mailbox and had to take it to show Pete. It is the biggest catapiller I have ever seen. The kids loved it until it popped on Abbie, but once we washed her hands all was forgiven. We thought about keeping it because it should turn into a butterfly soon, but we instead returned it to the flowers.

Beach
Pete and Chad took the kids to the beach. They all had lots of fun and came home a sandy mess. It is nice having Chad around, he is great with the kids and is like a built in babysitter. Chad even saved Abbie, Sam and Abbie were in the waves with Sam alittle further in, a big wave started so Sam grabed Abbie to hold her and when the wave came it knocked Sammy over and she pinned Abbie under the water but Chad was right their and pulled her out.

New Bikes
Daddy came home today with new bikes. Our kids have been the only ones on the block without bikes, so anytime someones garage was open they borrowed their bike. Sammy and Dano learned how to ride a bike on another kids bike. A beach Chruiser is the best bike for Sammy because she always sits up tall and looks regal. Dano likes Abbie's bike better because it has little wheels (training wheels). The bikes are a Little big, so the kids can't get on by themselves, but a then they will last longer.

All Boy
Noah is all boy. He loves cars and balls. He thinks he can do anything the other kids do, and has learned how to move the kitchen chairs around to climb on the table or get something off the counter. He love turning on and off our lights. He is also very aggressive; he bites, pulls hair, screams, and hits. He mainly attacks Abbie because she tries to mother him and boss him around.
