Happy Mother's Day to me

I think he looks bigger in the picture than he really does. He is only 2 so he will still grow some. He still has some of his winter coat so I think he will lose the white in his brown on his flanks. As you can tell he will get lots of loving here at his new home.

Don't you just want to snuggle him, I love his little brown ears and his one eye you can see in this picture has half brown eyelashes and half white. Sammy tried to clam him saying he was hers or at least every ones, but we make sure to correct her, he is Mommy's.

Abigale's 4th Birthday

Abbie turned 4 a couple of days after Easter. We just had cake and presents as a family, then told Abbie we would go any where she wanted to go. She has been talking about going to castle park for a long time and saying she wanted to go there for her birthday. But Sammy got to her and convinced her she really wanted to go to Chuck e Cheese. So we ended up going to Chuck e Cheese. Which was fine with Pete and Me, it was closer, less traffic, and cost a lot less (we had a coupon for 100 tokens for $10).

Easter Part 2

Easter Morning, the Easter Bunny brought the kids goodies, and put them in their baskets. After church we went to my parents house and had an early dinner. We couldn't find Dano and went looking for him and this is where we found him, enjoying quiet time with Grandpa. All of the adults helped to hide the eggs, can you see how helpful Lily is and how helpful Peter is.
Chris and Halli bought a package of 250 eggs and so we assigned a color to each kid and then they could only find their color. Each kid had 40 eggs to find. The kids loved it, Noah gave up after about 12 eggs. After the egg hunt we all sat around in the grass visiting,it was a lot of fun for both the adults and the children (who were busy eating their candy).Adam & Lilly, Halli, Chris and Nelly, Aunt Linda & Shawn, Peter, Holly & kids, Grandma, Grandpa & Allie.

Easter part 1

We died our Easter eggs using the new little snap swabs. They worked really good and didn't make a mess. We only decorated 8 eggs, they might not have lasted for more than a dozen, but I think they are worth buying. The Saturday before Easter we went to Peter's parents house. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins that they don't see very often. We had an egg hunt, each kid had their own one of a kind bag, they were soo cute.

Dano and Abbie comparing their goods.

Noah's New Habit

Noah has a new habit. He likes to pick his nose in the middle of the night. Then when he wakes up and comes down stairs he has blood smeared all over his face and arms. What a nice way to be greeted.

Peter is the greatest!

My husband loves me. I have been wanting to plant a garden, but we don't have anywhere that get sun all day long, so I could never figure out where I wanted it. Peter solved the problem by building me planter boxes and put them on the fence. So Peter either Loves me a lot, or he got tired of hearing me complain about not having anywhere for my garden.

Sunny Cali

last Saturday I had a dentist appointment in Orange County, So we decided to head to the beach afterwards. We didn't take a change of clothes or bathing suits, because we thought it would be too cold, considering it was still only March. So we get there and it was about 70 degrees, that is about as hot as it gets at the beach. So we told the kids they could get their feet wet but to keep their clothes dry. That of course didn't happen. Daniel keep going a little deeper each time and then he got knocked down by a wave so he was soaked, a little later Sam got knocked down and was way wet. Then Abby started to say she needed to pee, so we said 5 min then we were leaving and she had to hold it. Sam decided since we were leaving she should relieve herself, and when she squatted down to rinse off she got her undies full of sand. So we ended up striping the kids to their undies when we got to the car, but Sam was so uncomfortable we striped her completely and gave her a sweater to wear, then Dano complained for at least 5 minutes that his undies were wet and he wanted to take them off, but one nude kid was enough. Isn't Cali wonderful, with its beaches, mountains, traffic, smog, laws, and politics, ok so it is not the greatest but it still is nice.

Noah's 2nd Birthday

Noah spent his second birthday in the ER at Loma Linda. He had a red sore under his eye, no one knew what it was, and the Doctors were afraid that it if it was a virus it might go into his eye and affect his eyesite, or could maybe even spread to his brain since it was so close to it, or it could be infintigo which is not so serious. So just to be safe he spent the night their with an IV in his foot so that they could give him antibiotics. It looked a little better the following day so they said if it gets any worse come back. But it is now almost gone besides some small bumps. Here are some cute pictures we took of him in the hospital. Noah is our only child that has had to stay in the hospital.

Family Bike Ride

So we finally got to have our first family bike ride. We have been wanting to start having family bike rides. Usually when we went to the park Peter and the kids would ride their bikes and I would walk with Noah in the stroller. Then our neighbors gave us a bike trailer since their kids have outgrown it and can ride their own bikes now. So it seemed all we needed was a bike for me, so I told Peter that was all I wanted for Christmas. Then a couple of days before Christmas a neighbor kid asked Peter to let him ride his bike, he is a good kid who plays with our kids often, so Peter let him and of course he broke the bike. Then I got a bike for Christmas and we were waiting on the two parts Peter ordered on ebay for his bike, which took forever. So the parts come and Peter fixes the bike, it needs to be ajusted but it will work in certin gears. So Peter hooks up the trailer to his bike and loads all four kids in it to take a test drive and the kids love it. So we are now ready for our first family bike ride, Peter put Noah and Abbie in the trailer, which upset Daniel because he wanted to ride too, and off we go we started to go around the block. It seemed to me that Peter seemed to be peddling alot faster than me, so I asked if he was trying to get a work out or if he was in the wrong gear. So he tried to change gears and the chain broke. So he ended up have to push his bike like a scooter the rest of the way home and thus ended our first family bike ride. Now his bike is in the shop and we can try again next week.

Christmas = Family

Christmas Sunday
Our Gingerbread House
New Pajamas and Hats

Christmas Eve we had lots of fun in the snow, Sammy and Pete built a snowman and a snow castle (using a trash can). Noah walked around picking up snow and throwing it and eating it, Daniel just ran around dodging the snow balls Peter was throwing. Abbie was throwing her own, and eating the snow. We were just in time, the next morning all the snow was almost gone along with the snow man.

Santa came and reminded the kids to go to bed and behave so that he could come back later with presents.
Sharing good food and company.

I had to share this picture, when Daniel opened his present he said yeah! a box and then started to use it as a drum it was so cute that he was excited for a box. He was even more excited when we opened it for him and it was Hulk golves which he wanted but I didn't buy because I didn't want to encourage him to hit, but that is what Aunts and Uncles are for right, to get the good presents.
Right after getting the gloves he was already picking fights with anyone within reach.
We all enjoyed Christmas with our family.

Halloween

Pumpkin Patch with Aunt Halli, Uncle Chris, & Penelope.

Carving pumpkins, everyone made a face like Noah's and Abbie was the only one who lasted more than a couple of minutes.

Trick or Treating with all the cousins.
We had lots of fun with the whole family.

A Happy Couple

Adam and Lily got married!

Cute pictures of the kids.

Congratulations Adam and Lily!
